Summer Convention "Technical" Obstacle Course

At the PNW4WDA's Summer Convention in Ethel (Aug 14-16) they're going to try something a little different and offer a "Technical" Obstacle Course in addition to the regular racing and drags. I don't have a lot of details, but it is going to be a "crawler" type course with pits, hills, off camber section and "gates" (W.E. Rock Style)

There is a class for Men, Women and Kids. Fastest times overall receive a Warn M8000 (1st) A 50" LED Light Bar (2nd) and 60" Hi Lift (3rd)

I've been critical of the PNW in the past but, I think this is a great idea and could turn into something pretty cool in the future. Hat's off to those of them thinking outside the box. Hopefully everyone will come out and support it!

The Timber Tamers ran the last course in Ethel back in 05/06 timeframe. I remember the course layout and where everything was.

It's probably WAY overgrown now, but I'd be willing to help out and show you where it was. :awesomework:

Word is that they aren't using any of the old course, that everything is going to be new. It's getting built this weekend so I'll see what kind of spy pics I can get....:redneck:

Brandon, we ran a obstacle course out there a couple weekends ago before the mudbogs. Good old Donovan Amos won the damn thing in a bone stock Tracker. He flat aired that bitch out. We couldn't stop laughing. I hadn't seen him since about '99 and he hasn't changed one bit. :redneck:

Damn't your right. Not work but a big family/friends gathering that Saturday....

Convention might be fun with a 'tuff truck' course....... hopefully this will be come habit.

You can take your run(s) on either Friday or Saturday.

Fri and sat. Sunday is team relay
