Man I love the old Willys jeeps. My grandpa had a fleet of them when I was growing up and I loved to ride in them. His were all junk for the most part. Also dated a girl in HS and her dad and uncle had like 3 of them. Little fawkers would go anywhere. Ran into Pop's at breakfast on Sat morning and then coming home I see this at the Shoney's. Stopped and got a few pics, this thing was PERFECT. Fully restored, it all looked brand spankin new. Had a sweet NObama bumper sticker also!

Check it out

I have never seen one that was restored to stock. It had gold wheels and the undercarrage was freshly painted black. Damn thing looked like it had never been driven. Best thing was they cruised it down to Shoney's and it was cold as hell with a strong wind that morning!

If you like them, I have a buddy that has about 13 in different restoration phases at his house of Acton rd. He has everything from a Willys Woody Wagon circa 1929 unrestored to Willys tractor. He does them from scratch. thumb.gif

Field trip, Mr. Bus driver, were all in our places with bright shiny faces. Let me know when you want to see them. thumb.gif

Yes sir you are correct. Don has been my electrician and friend for the last 16 years. Have you seen his basement colection? He does wheel his junk from time to time at Grock and other watering holes, but his fortay has been just tinkering with them and selling a few parts. Great guy. thumb.gif
