I may be getting these cause I sent them $$$$$. But I am not really sure what they want.

What we are trying to do is propel SFWDA communications into the 21st century!
If you have not already, we would like for you to update your club's member info in the SFWDA membership database, being sure to include email addresses. If you or your proper club representative do not have your database access login and password, please let me or Membership Director Bob Sullivant ([email protected]) know so that SFWDA can provide you with the correct information. The SFWDA BOD is going to try to use email more effectively as a communication tool and will pull a master email listing from the membership database.
Not to take anything away from the role of the club presidents, but it seems like a lot of information falls through the cracks going from the SFWDA BOD to club representatives to club members. We would also like to be able to communicate more effectively with those individual SFWDA members who are not members of a club. The SFWDA BOD is committed to compiling a comprehensive email listing that it can use to communicate directly with all association members that have email addresses. For those few that sill do not use email we will use snail mail or phone.

Thanks to your help, we are making progress on compiling an accurate and up to date email list of SFWDA members!
We have now established email contact with each of the club presidents/representatives and are moving to phase II.
What we would like for you to do is to make contact with EACH of your club members. Using either email or phone, we would like for you to confirm each member's email address, preferably via email so that you know that it is a valid, working address. We would then like for you to update your membership's email information in the SFWDA Membership Database. After working with the database this week I know for a fact that many of the email addresses now listed for many members are inoperative. There are also large gaps in each club's membership information where there is no email address listed at all.
I know some of you have large clubs and that this may be quite a chore, but in today's political climate, with a fight on every front to save our trails, communication is going to be one of the keys to victory for the 4x4 community! Enlist others in your club to help or use your elected officers or your BOD/Executive Committee to help you help us insure that our email list is a valid, working listing that can be used to speed communication between SFWDA and it's membership!
Knowing that there will undoubtedly be errors and omissions and that some folks do not have email addresses at all, we are still desirous of your help in moving SFWDA communications into the 21st century.
