I just picked up a truck with this nifty hitch setup on it. Some kind of a swing away hitch that looks to work like a fifth wheel but mounts under the truck. Anybody have any expieriance with such a animal ? Looks ok to pull with but what about backing up on it :eeek:

Never seen that before...not sure, but it almost looks like the bracket mounted on the bent bar/slider is bent??? Not sure I'd trust it...

Seen it on a few rigs and the owners seemed to love them. Moving the pivot point closer to the rear wheels of the towing vehicle makes it allot nicer to maneuver

I'm so used to a bumper-pull.... I tried to back a gooseneck horse trailer onto our 32K lb drive-on to service the wheels/brakes...couldn't back that damn thing up fer ****!!!!:haha::haha:

I have a buddy who has a GMC with the rear steering and he just loves it. I tried a goose neck---got confused and got out of the seat :redneck:
