budbilt or trail gear?????? $300 for bud or $200 for TG. what would you get what do you have? is the bud worth the extra 100??

Budbuilt has a good reputation as the cross member to get for a toyota, but thats about all I know about it, other than it does cost more. My TG cross member works great for me. All the holes lined up when I installed it and it's held up to abuse real well.

i have an allpro X-member set up for a driveline brake, slightly modfied, added a peice of 3/8 plate for the whole transfercase cover to bolt to, the allpro one only went up half way, anyways with a skid plate $150:awesomework:

I have a BudBuilt unit in my truck. If you like the original item, the real deal, made in USA, then go BudBuilt. You also put a few bucks into the pocket of a guy who spent time figuring out how to make it work.

If you like the chinese r&d (ripoff and duplicate) or if you are price sensitive, then go trailgear.

Either way, you get a product that works.
