T5 jeep transmission what's it worth and is it any good?

I have one of these in a jeep and I need to know what a fair price is to ask for it with and without the transfer case. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks. It's an 84 CJ7

I was kinda thinking the same thing. This one is a reman though so I guess it has some redeeming qualities.

I had one once but it was junked up on the inside I thought about taking the output and making me a t5 and put it in a little buggy with a turbo 2300 but never did :dunno:

Yes they are basically identical except the rear output and shifter. And OP, they are really weak. If you run much bigger than 33's daily driving then it will burn up 3rd gear bearings or end up getting stuck in between 5th and reverse.

I think I got $150 for one I had but as far as I know it was a stock, non reman out of an 84 so it was well used. It took a little while to get rid of it but CL came through. I doubt anyone on a site like this would want it but for a guy restoring a jeep or just looking for a stock DD I could see where it would be nice to have the OD. I drove one all through high school with behind a 304 and running 33s and it held up fine.
