Just switched back to a smart phone after 6 months of trying a basic phone. Logged in here and it suggested tap a talk. I've never used it before, is it worth using?

Yes. Easiest way to share pictures and browse the forums from your mobile device (once you figure everything out). I've used Tapatalk Pro for a while.
Only frustrating thing is sometimes it takes forever to load pages, even when my phone is connected to wifi at home. I supposed it's something to do with the Tapatalk server itself? I'm not exactly savvy with how all that IT junk works. But overall, I use Tapatalk basically every day.

No problems I post all the time with it . Easiest way that know . I never pull the lap top out anymore

While we're on the topic...... Sometimes pictures show up as a blank white box, like an attachment or something. I can't see these types of pics on Tap a talk. I use to be able to highlight them, like before you comment, and select "open in browser" and they would show up. Now they only show up if I'm on the PC. No big deal, unless its a hawt chick I'm trying to see!! Just wandering if anyone knows what I'm talking about, and what to do about it?

Load it up and check it out, it's free now anyway. I have yet to know anyone that surfs forums from a phone or small tablet that wouldn't agree, that it's the easiest way to do it. I never get on our home computer anymore for forums.

I also finally stepped up to a smart phone, will down load it now I guess.
Was going to put it on the tablet, I just remember the last thread I read on here you had to pay for it and I just don't post enough picts to need it. But its sounds a lot easier to upload picts

I love it but the fail to load forum gets old.
The white box attachments show up, just click the menu and select web view for that thread.
Notifications are hit and miss, mostly miss, but I get email notifications and check that way.

You got it, but it's backwards. The name is who started the thread, the picture is the avatar of who has the latest comment in the thread.

I use my regular phone browser and love the site... I don't see how tapatalk could be as complete, and the regular site is as easy as any to use.... I just don't see how it could be a big advantage doing it either way

I use the computer at work and the phone when anywhere else. Sounds like it will just be a hassel to get on here 2 different ways.
