I tap the case with a 1/8" pipe tap and use a 5/16" barbed fitting. Put grease on the tap to keep ahold of the shavings. You do not need to drill it at all trust me.As far as your fluid drainage it could be over filled. Worse case a cracked case causing cross leaks. Another thing what stall converter it may be to big for your application and heating up and spitting fluid out.
