i have been searching, havnt come up with where the best place to put it would be....any suggestions?

which line, in or out, i would think the line out to the cooler would be better....is the out line on the top or bottom?

Line going out to the cooler. i will look at what line it is tomorrow. Cant remember, but I know that the 350 is opposite from the TH400.

why not put it in the pan? won't that give you the best reading?

I had mine originally that way, but found out that the metal pan was gettting hot and not giving the correct temperature of the fluid, just the pan. Since then I have installed mine in the line between the transmission and the coolers. thumb.gif

i could see that, i've got a alumininum pan, so hopefully wont effect the reading as bad

from what i have seen the in line route is the best. the temp on the fluid coming from the pump is going to be what you want to know, not the fluid in the pan. the lower line on a th350 is the one coming from the pump....
