Is there any way to eliminate the kickdown cable and still have it kickdown in 2nd/ 3rd? Without a full manual valvebody? Why does a th350 have a cable and a th400 doesnt?


It looks like my flexplate is a 11.5" or so converter pattern, and th350 is 10.75"? Is there another stock flexplate that will work well? Mine has a balance weight.


What "stock" convertor should I use to match the old 4l60E converter? How close would a summit 1700 or 2000rpm stall converter be? What would a stock car 350 converter stall be?
