So , now that we have Obama and Fawkin Joe Biden leading the country and the new " Green Team " about to get serious and start legislating do you think there will be an impact in recreational automotive use ?

Historically the clean air act's have gotten tighter and tighter , **** there WILL NOT be any 2 cycle engines produced at all soon. So how long until a recreational "smog" level is set ?

I dunno, but my buddy works and sells small engine stuff, and the fawken new kawasaki weed eaters and leaf blowers have emmisons **** on the exhaust. Its mostly just a screen on the exhaust but still its pretty retarted to have emmisions **** on 20 cc motors. They dont run worth a **** utill fully warm and still there is a noticable power difference.

My prediction, off road only rigs will not be impacted. It's going to hit the millions of new cars sold, not the existing cars/trucks or the unregistered cars/trucks.

I could see mandatory smog test of all vehicles on the road happening in a decade or less. no annual inspection of any kind in KS as of right now. if they do an annual inspection, why not test smog while you're there.
Offroad....it'll be a bit. they have to know it exists first, then they have to find where I wheel thumb.gif

Never understood the annual MO inspection. saftey items, but no smog. St. Louis does smog I heard though. :dunno:

TX does smog I think, but took the vit and bike in and was out in <20 minutes with papers and stickers. It's all a racket, but will get tighter shortly.

exactly. and you can still pay people to pass you illegally. I can see KS being that way for a long time.
Don't matter, my wife has an 07 Honda and I have an 04 truck with liquid cocaine fuel treatment in the tank that makes for a complete burn so lower emissions, no worries for me :flipoff1: :flipoff1: :flipoff1: :flipoff1: :flipoff1:
