I laugh... stupid ****s.
I dont laugh at the fact that its going to cost every single person that lives and works in Jefferson County. Already pay tax just to work in the Ham city limits, the sales tax is 10%, the water got approved for a 20% increase , they passed a 1cent BS tax for education that they continually use for stupid **** and the fuggin mayor doesnt even reside in Bham and buys a new cadillac every year and charters planes for stupid ****.
Dont worry though, in the minds of the "minority" ( which is actually the voting majority in B'ham ) its all good because the black mayor is looking out for the black public. I hate to pull the race card but the reality is the only reason he is mayor is because he is black. Its certainly not because he is looking out for the best interest of the city. There is nothing but corruption on both sides of the race fence in B'ham, thats just the truth of the matter. Look how many have been in court over the last couple years for stupid ****. laughing1
Local politicians getting wealth and letting the ball drop on the tax payers.
Go ahead and pull the race card P.
The race card is exactly why Birmingham will never move forward with its current dogma of thigns.
Birmingham has always been about the race card.
I laugh as well at those in Birmingham who are over the fire now because they haven't done anything to progress (or at least make an attempt to fix the problem that Birmingham has had since its history = mismanagement of funds/allocation of wealth to local politicians = politicians getting richer and tax payers left paying).
On a topic more in my field of study (medicine)...there was a huge debate (actually nationally) by some "unnamed" minority groups who proclaimed that they were not receiving fair treatment in admission to medical school.
"Unnamed" minority argument: "We score in the top ten percentile of people entering certain medical schools (not necessarily upper crust schools)"
The "Majority" of people entering medical school score in the top 1 percentile of people not only entering medical school, but the top 1 percentile of people entering "upper crust" medical schools.
It seems there is some disambiguation among certain groups huh?
Anyway, carry onwards...I am just saying that in the case of UAB, if they (UAB) wants to promote diversity, it doesn't matter how qualified you are, they will promote diversity which will completely exclude even the most qualified, for the sake of being "diverse."
Somewhat of a hijack, but take it as you will...I am just saying that "people doing for them and theirs" is all over Birmingham (city and schools as well as elsewhere)....
Have a nice day!
