Not reading this whole **** show.  Did peruse the last couple pages.   How much is your wheelbase stretched, do you have room for a 400/205.   They are long as **** compared to some other options.  The rock input being high helps a ton as the shaft doesn't have to go downhill as much.   You said that a deal fell through and the front output was bad on some 205?   All outputs are swapable across all versions for the most part.   I have a bin full of 400/205's, and SM465/205's.  Couple ford cases with the 32 spline outputs front and rear as well.  Do I remember you're in Missouri or am I off?   If so, I'm up the road in KS (again, thinking you're in Springfield).

400's have a 32 spline output, the 205 that goes with it is a big bearing female input.

350's and sm465's are 27 and 10 splines respectively, and use a coupler sleeve to mate the 2 male shafts together.   Both 205's from these units are small bearing male input.

Late (85 and later) 400/205 and 4 speed 205 combos used a circle 6 pattern 205, and the SM465 (4 speed) went to a 32 spline output to match the 400.

What exactly do you need?

I'll likely not check back in on this cluster thread ****
