the "new" icon

how do you get the "new" icon to pop up beside new post???

Kep, Click mark all messages read, then when you return, the "new" is what you have not seen.
Clicking "Show unread posts since last visit." at the top is the best way to read the forum. That is my bookmark.

I dont like that because sometimes Ill look at a response sent to my email via my phone which screws up the "since last visit" part of it. This is my bookmark.

That appears to be the same information in the link I posted, Mine works perfect surfing from multiple computers, the iPhona and iPad.

My show new replies and show unread post buttons have disappeared . Doesn't matter what device I am using. Any thoughts

There is a minuscule little square icon in the upper right that shrinks or expands the header. You probably have it shrunk and need to expand it.
