The perfect wheelbase solution

thats crazy, I don't really understand how it works, but it does. I saw it on pirate a while back.

I saw a buggy like that @ windrock when we went a few years ago. It had two hydraulic cylinders that would adjust wheelbase like that truck. Didn't get a good look at it cause there was so many people gawking over it. He was adjusting it as I drove by. Pretty neat but something else that go wrong!

2 piece driveshaft in the end that moves, the slip in the first part of the shaft is your travel. then the link carrier *( a unit that all 4 mount to) is on a slide type system and hydro actuated front to back. could be made very reliable and lockable for hydro failure.

Come to think of it there were two of these buggys and one of them had something wrong with the steering and was having to use the two hydro cylinders to kinda steer if recall correctly. It's been too long ago. :dunno:

That truck belongs to Roger from TN. Pretty cool guy, he used to driver the Grave Digger looking PoWag that was all beat to hell.
BTW...
