I am new to the area and looking at buying a trailer. Does anyone has thoughts good or bad about Titan Trailer Tacoma on quality or price?

Thanks

DONT DO IT!!!! Trailers are build pretty strong but craftsmanship/quality is bad bad bad. Welds look like bird crap, overspray EVERYWHERE, the ramp brackets/mounts FELL OFF within 2 trips, one bolt in each end of the 2x8 UNTREATED deck boards. You will regret it if you do. My friend bought one and it pulls really nice and its strong but everything else is junk. The guy that we delt with is really shifty too. Thats my thoughts:D

If your looking for cheaper trailers go to bulldog trailers. On the cheaper end but nice trailers and the guy, Jay, is really cool.

If you want a real nice one and not to worried about price, i got mine and olympic trailer in oympia, its a PJ 520. Super nice... powder coated, treated wood deck, 4 wheel eletric brakes, diamond plate alum fenders, bulldog hitch. VERY nice. Ill put a link if your interested.

I've got a Titan Haul, dealt with "Ace". payed $2300 brand new 10K 18'. The only things i can really complain about is the paint sucks, and the wiring sucks, i'm about to rewire it. I'm also not sure about their coupler, i hit a pot hole with the trailer empty on an uneven road, the tounge was on and locked, but it somehow popped off and the trailer jack took the hit, pulled over hooked it back up, and been fine since.(yeah both 2 5/16 ball and coupler) But the jack broke since that's what it landed on. Anyways i'm sure there are higher quality couplers, i'd look into the tounge more before buying another trailer. Here's what i've done to mine since i bought it about a year and a half ago. it's an 08 trailer.

Trailer- $2300+tax and license

stained deck-$20
added toolbox-$100
added winch mount-$50
replaced lights with LED's-$50
used some spray paint to touch up-$5
Tounge Jack -$65
Needs to be rewired still, that'd be $50
tabs '09- $30

$2670 after 1.5 years and i've used it a lot, maybe 50-100 times, thousands of miles. I don't regret buying it, it was the cheapest, but i got what i paid for. Next time i'd spend more, and get one that has better welds, better paint, better wiring, LED lights, tool box, and full tube frame, with a treated deck.

I would buy it again if i only had $2300. If i had like $3500 i'd get a super beefy blinging one.
