Friday night: Softball games! To be honest, my daughter is not a great softball player.  She's been walked a bunch of times but she didn't have a hit all year.  Friday night was the first round of the playoffs, she was in the last inning with two outs  and the score was tied.  Hope is up to bat and to be honest, it looks pretty bleak.  Wouldn't you know it, she got her first hit of the year.  They ended up getting two runs that inning and Hope had the winning run.  She was *so* happy.

Saturday morning: Round two of the playoffs, they lost 10-5.  It was 4-3 after the second inning and the really made them earn it but the other team was very good.  I'm not sure I could have hit some of those pitches. :)

Saturday: I spent the rest of the day fussing around with my buggy.  I've had a line lock on my buggy for years but it never really worked that well.  I had to pump the brakes a couple times and hold them while I did digs.  It also put a lot of pressure on the front half of the drivetrain because to some extent it had to overpower the front brakes.  My original plan was to install the cutting brake while I did the rear axle as if it was a little side job but I thought the big day would go that much smoother if I got it done now.  Man, that was a good call because it took me about 6 hours and 4 trips to auto stores before I got everything I needed and properly bled the brakes.

I installed them backwards from what most people do because with my limited space pushing the cutting brake seemed to fit better than pulling on it.  This way it's not interfering with the tranny's shifter or my elbows while I'm driving.

I spent almost 2 hours trying different things before I decided which position was the best (or least bad because nothing was perfect).  In the end I liked it between the seats and tilted away from me.

Sunday: Not sure. I know we have an end of season softball party at 3:00 but the rest of the day is open.
