yea, it is tough. I have been in the Guard for 9 years now, luckily I have yet to go overseas, but my time is coming. from what I hear we are scheduled for 2011 (which means fall 2010). I am a 63B, wheeled vehicle mechanic, they combined the 63s (heavy) and 63b (light) a couple years ago to make just one wheeled vehicle MOS. I have H8 (track vehicle recovery specialist) qualifications as well. The unit I am in now is a transport/heavy lift aviation battalion...our section is kind of the black sheep of the battalion since all the others sections and companies have something to do with aviation.I also work for the Guard full time as well, doing the same thing as my MOS, basically a diesel mechanic paid by the federal gov't. I have to stay in the guard to keep my job, but its worth it for the pay/benefits.Brian
