Mech's alway get treated like ****... Civilian or Military. Nature of the stereotype. You say mechanic and instant thought is Hollywood Jethro greasy faced with tobacco in his lip tryin to hussle the lady that just needs to get home. I had one CO the entire time in the military that recognized the need for Mechanics in the big picture, and he let us get away with murder as long as **** was mission capable in the motorpool. I loved the Armored Cavalry Unit i was in in S Korea, damn we had fun and worked are asses off. Then I went to Ft Hood and no one gave a **** or worked for **** in anything in that unit... probably the #1 reason I didnt re-up.
