Tire mounting

do the tires on an electric crawler mount the same as a nitro car? As in the wheels I have have a hexagon lug insert then they go on the axle. Are the elctric crawler wheels attached the same way, reason I ask is I have a set of tires and wheels that are too big for my nitro car, that i might want to sell/trade for some smaller 2.2 wheels/tires for a nitro...:corn:
