Tire Tech - Complaint

I heard on the CAOS Board and here that Tire tech was a reputable business to vulcanize a tire. They are located on 31st ST. North. I took a tire there Tuesday morning (8/14). To have tire returned to me by Friday (8/17). I go by there on Friday to pick up the tire, they look around and can't find it. Tell me to call back later, it may be delivered this afternoon. I call back right at 5, nope not today, it will be here Monday. I go by there Monday afternoon. No tire. They say the tire is repaired, just waiting on a truck to deliver it. Tuesday, no tire. Yesterday (Wednesday), I go by there. They look around the shop, can't find the tire. Call the guy that was vulcanizing the tire, no answer. Leave a message that tire has to be delivered Thursday (today). I get my first call from Tire Tech today, I have been calling them or going by. They say both the rock crawler tires CAN NOT BE REPAIRED. I only have one tire. So someone else also has a tire that will not be repaired. Now I am trying to get my tire back, not fixed, so I can run King Of The Hill.

I will never do business with these people again, and I suggest everyone else to avoid them also. I was lied to when they told me the tire was fixed, waiting to be returned. I was lied to when they gave me a return date. Poor business practices.

You know who the other tire belongs to because I do ;D Mine was not repairable and they still don't have it back to me. If you go by before I do pick mine up with yours and I will come to your place to get it and vice versa. I saw we keep calling them and chewing them out until we get the tires or ask where they are and go get them. They have had mine since 8/8. To say that they will never get my business again is an understatement. Those assclowns suck.

Yeah I re-read your post and edited mine. That sucks they cannot fix yours either. I am gonna try WIngfoot or Ted's next, but for now I am gonna mount one of the super thrashed creepy's from P on my spare wheel.

Anybody know a place in town that can mount a 17" non-lock wheel to a 40" tire. Finding someone to do this is harder than it seems..
