Just gotta pick up some Loc-tite 592 and torque down the head tonight 8)

Got the head off and man that engine is CLEAN, #5 cylinder had a little carbon in it, I assumed at that point the exhaust valve lifter was the problem lifter when I saw that... it wasnt terrible, but the plug looked bad and there was obvious buildup. I cleaned everything all up put new plugs in the head , new lifters and a fresh head gasket on it and sat it back on.

Then we got distracted :drinkers:

The forward drivers side head bolt goes through a water passage and requires a different torque spec and some kinda Loc tite stuff , Im going to grab that on the way home and button it up this evening. It rained most the day yesterday at my place so I didnt mess with it. Plus me and the girls had a mean Monopoly game going on.. ;D

Thats kinda what I was thinking... weird that Heep uses it on 1 of the head bolts.. I guess cause it passes through a water port. Manual calls it out on the forward most drivers side head bolt. The damn Torque Spec for said bolt is 10ft Lbs lower than the rest also... cocky **** I tell ya.

Just the tip.

Well Im like, bolt on the PS pump, put the throttle cables, fuel rail and exhaust on away from being done. Hailey was getting restless so i decided I better come in side ( Amber at study group... )

My laptop now has a spider web on the monitor in the top left corner... HB apparenly got careless in the living room this evening . :'(

Ill still drive the TJ tommorow.. it will just have to be after work though ;D
