Im picking up the motor for the TJ tonight and hopefully stuffing it in said TJ Friday night, anyone wanna help ( IE pass the cold ones and tools.... )

Moving this weekend, but would if I could. You have fun, I am sure you will have plenty of people there to help (ie drink all night and not actually do any work) ;D

Exactly, that is how it always works. It is almost impossible to work at P's when a big group is there!!! The best work is done solo or with 1 other there.

Saturday Im spending with the girls.

Heck man there was a BIG group there this past Saturday and we repaired the sheep and made James Dollar a rear driveshaft !! :spin:

Wrong motor, sitting out doors, no intake on it, head full of water and leafs, intake sitting in the bed of another truck completely full of crap...

Still need a motor >:(

Weres a place in Bham that does Crankkits or what not ?? Ill probably pull the pan and see what i have in this one to work with ( since Im fired up to work on it Friday ) Say I get it diagnosed as a spun rod or main bearing, Ill be lookin at a bottom end rebuild. ( Use to have all this stuff hooked up in Ks but havent done any engine work since I moved here )

what about that one in the yard old boy found hot. give him a couple hundo for the engine if it runs and rock the F out

Its a later model with distributor less ignition... I dont know the interchangability in all that stuff either

thanks..

Hope to have "what it needs" figured out tommorow, Im taking it by Hesco for an evaluation from John. I figured he would know ALOT more than I would and maybe it will give me some direction.

I did send an email to a guy that posted a 4.0 for sale CHEAP as well.... Im not out of options, just tryin to decide on the best method. 8)
