So heres the deal my dad got a decent buggy a year ago and were doing some upgrades, it has a tbi 350 dyno tuned, turbo 400, and 205, 5:13s and 40" stickies. The motor seems healthy but start on a hill in high range and it doesnt move, get the rpm up a little and it rips, in low range its gets it but my question is the stock torque converter part of the problem? Should it have something with a higher stall for a buggy?

I never climb anything in high range, leave it in low and lay it on the wood!

This sounds right. Mine won't get out of its own shadow in high on a hill. I am running 4.56 in axles but doesn't help. Matter of fact mine never comes out of low range. :dblthumb:

It will be worse with a higher stall I have 4.88's and mine doesn't like high either it'll do it but only because of the motor!
