Water can get into small places I have been told. I have always owned newer bikes and have power washed with no issues. Some say it can get into the seals, in the cases, etc. I don't know how much I believe, but on an older bike I could see it.

Granted I power washed my Raptor and never had one issee and my motor in my crawler all the time, no issues.

Maybe I am a sheep?

I don't wash old school dist style v8's from the 80's, but any newer **** with weatherpak connections, good boots and seals, any of our equipment, etc, I dont see a problem with. especially a jap made piece.
maybe a HD will take on water ???
I'd say, just don't point the wand at teh brain connectors or seals with a 0 nozzle on thumb.gif laughing1

Can get around things such as your axles and corrode them up. Also can get in bearings even though they are sealed, but not made for full on pressure washing. If your like me I run open breather with hardly any cover on them HD's.
