i was looking at the superflex u-joints that r on tom woods web page, they make sence to me but has anyone used them, if so were their any problims with them. im just looking for a wallet freindly way to fix the binding problim i have with my front driveshaft

a friend of mine runs one in his front d-shaft,to band-aid the angle problem, works great for its intended purpose...it will still break like a regular joint though..

I run one in my front driveline, they vibrate because of the design. I am working on replacing it with a high angle 1350 yoke. They are good below 15 mph, any faster and they shake real bad. What size are you running?

I just installed one on my front driveline Friday night. Works great, does exactly what they said it would. TW's waned me that there might be a vibration on the street, but mine is a trailer queen anyways.

work great if you need more angle of operation......ie droop. Plenty strong for their intended use

I have had one on my rig for about 2 years now and has been treating me great, I have never used at to high of speeds though.

Or you make one like I did for my trip to Reiter cause my TW one was still in the mail, it had a pretty good wobble to it bit it didnt break:awesomework

I wonder if the TW would counteract my vibes from compound angles on my rear dline?:redneck: That's pretty intuitive Dobber....:awesomework:

Dude, I talked to cory about this the other day, i think you should maybe look into running single joints at both ends of your driveline up front, your angles can't be more than the ones on the front of my truck, you and cory should stop by and take a look and see. I looked at running these joints and everyone told me it was a band aid for a greater problem, plus if you break one you MIGHT be dead in the water if you dont have a spare to put in to get you off the trail.

yeah, i might just have to do that, im trying to get another set of pinion flanges that bolt up to my truck. i have a spare drive shaft right now thats the right length and all, so i figure if i get two of the tw's u-joints then i can put them all to gether and have a spare drive shaft for the occasional breakage. but i'll talk to cory and we'll probly come take a look some time.

I have one in the rear of my buggy with no vibrations and it has held up to a ls1 and sticky maxxis

so i called tw's to place my order for my u-joint and the person on the other end of the line told me they dont make them for and 84 toyota front drive shaft. does anyone have them on their toyota, if so how did u get them to fit.
