I liked the 5 cars thread, so here is the next poll: Other than yours, what are the 5 buggies you like the most? It could be based on the technical stuff, race results, color, shape, ingenuity, or any other thing you want. I just thought it would be cool to see what folks like. It's not a who is better or who sucks thread, just 5 rigs you really like and admire. Keep it classy San Diego.

Here are mine. No real order.
1. Dan Dibbles red buggy. I sprayed yards one summer and saw it in his garage and talked to him for a few minutes about it. From that moment on I have wanted a buggy. I'm guessing it was 2002ish.

2. Underrated- It is just a cool buggy. Always seemed to me that it flat out works. I like the name as well.

3. Oversized- I'm sure it is an illusion or the lines exagerate it but it just looks like a really big buggy and I think it's cool.

4. Warfare- I guess I like it cause it is a friends and is close by. The motor is nasty and it is tough as heck!

5. The red Scout buggy at Hawk Pride (Streibeck?)- I'm not sure why it's in the list, but every time I see it I just like it more and more.

1- Solo Buggy. Sumbitch flat works and no shotgun rider. I'd definately paint it Petty Blue though. It's slick, but purple just ain't me.
2- Sucker Punch. I couldn't drive it (my head touches the roof at rest), but damn if I wouldn't stare at it in the garage.
3- Riot Buggy. No explaination needed.
4- Jason Brown's moon buggy. 6.0/350/205 and narrowed 60/9", noisy and nimble. Just the way I like it.
5- Chicky Barton's green KoH buggy that finished 3rd like 3 or 4 years ago.

4 and 5 for reference.

1. Peter Baslers U4 rig he ran SRRS with. That was a do all rig!!

2. Coddy Waggoners new lazer nut IFS-IRS car!!! That thing is amazing!

3. Ross Pilgreens U4 RZR creation, im probly a bit partial to it, but i honestly believe the future of this sport could be something like that rig.
The stuff i seen it walk with ease at hammers still blows my mind.

4. Bobbys Tanners screaming blue!! Brian cole has the art of low center of gravity down!! Probly more so than most buildrrs out there. He also has a great eye for lines and the look of a rig.

5. Cole shirleys green jims garage rig, that rig flat worked in all conditions!! And i hate jeeps, but the rig was very impressive!

No particular order...

Fat girl by TC

Warfare buggy

That 1/2 ton buggy with nasty ford Motor. Pike?

Riot buggy

Unfinished business by TC

Honorable mention is the white chevy Colorado buggy.

1. Brett Jerome's - Ain't easy

2. Greg Carey - Heart Attack

3. EOR - Crawlmaro

4. Wide Open Design - Jeep Evolution

5. Matt Cutler - Jim's Garage/Dodge Charger Buggy (This one should probably be my #1)

Re:

1. That Black EB Customs buggy he had on here for sale for awhile

2. Adam Fords, Lonesome Ornery and Mean Buggy

3. Crawlmaro

4. All black WOD 4 seat buggy, seen one at the expo a couple years ago and then again at HPO Hardline Ride

5. Some sort of super light weight weight Samurai/Tracker hybrid on some sticky 29s. I know I've seen one on here or on Pirate somewhere that I really liked before, it was kind of a poor man's sxs.

Monster Buggy. Rear enging BBF, axeltechs, tons of cool fab in the details. and it still looks like something you could trail-wheel

I could only narrow it down to 6. My favorites are driven from watching build threads as a fabrication standpoint. Nothing really about the performance.

No particular order:

John Reynolds UFO buggy

Seem to see a pattern with the look of most of those. Are we going to see something similar on the manche?

Probably in the c pillar-trailing arm styling. If I were building a buggy again, I would say yes, more similarity.

I forgot about that one! I would have to put it in the list somewhere.

I was with Kevin the first time he took it to the woods. Tellico. We went strait to lower 2. Bad little machine for sure.
