Toughest paint

Thinking about pulling apart my YJ this summer because it's lake season and I really need to fix some stuff like wiring and modify the cage slightly. While i'm at it I was thinking about repainting the jeep just because I have OCD and why not? What paint would y'all recommend I go with that will hold up to some abuse? Going to actually spray this one with a buddy vs rattle can

I wish my Toyota body panels were done with red spray in bed liner! Too aggravating to paint the body panels with an exo cage around everything and it look decent.

We used a lot of epoxy paint at work. High dollar but tough as hell

We use rustolem mixed with acetone great tough paint and very cheap and easy to get also if you do need to do touch up the spray cans match very well

Use Tractor Supply implement paint. Thats what we always used on our dirt cars. Thats why they were always Ford blue, I-H red, New Holland yellow/blue/red, JD green, Kubota orange or chassis black. That stuff is TOUGH, my buddy rolled his car, the roof wrinkled up, but the paint never chipped, cracked or flaked up!

x2 nasty as hell spraying it but works good I'd buy a cheap gun to spray it cause clean up sucks ass

X2...we don't use the acetone though....goes on thick and takes a while to dry but tough as hell afterwards

I can tell you that you DONT want to use this ****.
Takes years to dry and even then its soft as ****.
Complete shitty paint.

I have always used rustoleum hammered on my cage/bumper stuff, seems to hold up way better than any other rattle can paint. And my paint prep work is lacking :****:

I painted my new hood with the same paint JDub suggested. DuPont Nason acrylic enamel with 483-11 hardener and their medium reducer. The mix is 8 parts paint, 2 parts reducer, and 1 part hardener. Turned out pretty dern good for my first time ever painting a body panel. It's good stuff.

US Military CARC paint. it is slightly toxic but able to withstand most everything. Color selection is slightly limited.

If your not looking for a show quality paint job, this is one of the toughest you can get for $100 a gallon.
It goes on with a brush and is smooth as a baby's a$$ when it is dry. I love this stuff.
