toy flange on a 44???

will a toy flange go on a dana 44 pinion? i'm not sure if i've seen anything on this topic on here before. but I have a fullsize dana 44 with the yoke end and a np205 with the flanged end. do they make flanges to run the toy driveline or is there some place to get a longer splined d-shaft setup for fairly cheap??? i was thinking about jsut going with a toy long spline kit and converting my flanges but i'm not sure if this would be a goo avenue to go or not...:eeek:
