Toyota Broken rear leaf bracket..any ideas on how to fix??

the bracket/clamp that is on the rear lower leaf all the way in the back broke. i thought about re-welding a new on or fabricating one..any thoughts??

Is this the clamp that keeps the leafs from over seperating? Spring shops can replace that or give you one to do it yourself.

If it is the bracket that holds the leaves together you can fab one up no problem. Or try running with out it sometimes those limit travel and they are there to keep the springs from twisting. If the spring doesnt twist with it not there you dont need it.

i cut mine off to get a little more droop. im going to get new ones soon and move them farther in to help keep the leafs from shifting.
 
just go to napa and buy the correct size, grab a piece of flat bar and drill a few holes in it and clamp it.:awesomework:
