Just a quick question...

Are the E-Brake cables the same for a 2WD and 4x4? I swapped a wide rear end into my truck, and the e-brake cables from the donor truck are a little sketch in a spot and mine are obviously too short. So, I was thinking about grabbing one from the yard, but they usually only have 2WD trucks 90% of the time. Just wondering if they're the same diameter cable, same attachment style and everything I guess.

Probably not. There's differences between the different 4x4s including length and how they get to the drums.

Nope...like Shane said, different routing, etc.

I would get a new one from the dealer because you can be assured of its integrity.
