Toyota EFI swap questions

So I would like to know peoples opinions on:

Swaping EFI into an 85 Carburated truck

If you had access to a rolled 86 EFI truck would you

Swap ALL wireing from the EFI truck to the carb truck? Engine bay, EFI intake wires, cab wires with fuse pannel. Since everything is plug and play. No brain work at all

OR

Find a 89 up and scab it together since it isn't exact plug and play stuff?

What problems would be encountered with either swap?

Besides cutting a small hole through the cab on the passenger side for the EFI wires.

I'd say if you have the 86, swap the entire electrical system headlight to tail lights. Only takes about 8 hours.
