I have a 1985 toyota 4x4 pickup with a 22r in it. it has a vacuum issue that i cant seem to solve. would anyone be interested in coming out to help me? i dont really have any money but i know alot of people like helping each other out. i live in bellevue and have tools. if anyone is interested and feels confident that they could fix my truck i would appreciate the help.

Give up some details and maybe we could point you in the right direction. Is there a leak? Not sure where to hook something up? Can you take a pic?

X2 take some good pics of your engine i am sure it is somethin you have over looked/cracked hose loose tube clamps split in your intake tube?

What you could do is get a length of hose, not sure what size exactly, and put on end to your ear. Then move the other end of the hose along your lines. If you come up on a different sound, you will notice the difference, check all around there. Thats all I got man.

you can use brake cleaner or carb clean and spray your vacuum lines, when the rpm's pickup thats the leak... pm with your info and i might be able to come help ya out

well, i unhooked a vacuum line on the top right of the carb and got it idle a little lower. i sprayed carb cleaner on all the lines and nothing changed. .. adjusting the idle screws dont do anything... maybe the vacuum lines just arnt hooked up correctly? i cant get a picture of how they are saposed to be anywhere......

Stock carb or webber? X2 on the brake clean trick but if you notice any change in idle.......up or down look in that area for a vacume leek. also spray around your intake gaskets. you might have a intake manifold leek. :awesomework:
