Doing a SAS and replacing the 85 rotors with the 89 rotors and were trying to remove the old rotors and cant remove them without a press. Have no press. What are our options?

simple...take a brass hammer and lightly smack the side of the main body of the hub....make sure all the nuts are loose though...in fact, not a bad idea to have the nuts on a thread or two to keep the cone washers from disappearing :;...

I think hes talking about rotor/hub not locking hub.

Just drive the wheel studs out with a hammer and a chunk of brass or aluminum.

For driving them back in I like to use a 10 inch long chunk of a torsionbar the end works best.

Impact and a stack of washers under a lug nut will get wheel studs back in as well.

I prefer to drive them in as apposed to pulling them in with a lug nut. Each stud that is pulled in gets heavy wear on the threads. If ya use the same lugnut for all 12 studs it will damn near wear all the threads out of that lugnut. If doing it this way use a different lug to pull each stud through.

I like driving them in with a punch or drift. Just like doing a bearing, I feel better when I can hear the "ping" sound change when a stud or bearing is seated firmly on bottom. That way I know its seated very well.

Ah.....got it :redneck:....I'm with choppy, much rather drive them in than pull them for the same reasons mentioned....Of course, for doing one or two without pulling the entire assy, I have a wheel stud puller, it has a bearing in it, keeping the friction created by using a lug nut at bay, virtually eliminating thread damage.

yep X2 on the air hammer. I like hearing that "ping" though and having the hammer bounce back and hit you in the forehead  Then you know there seated all the way :haha::awesomework:
