Which is easier to do:

Say the rig in question is an '89 toyota 4x4.

Is it easier to swap a 3.4L into a 22re or 3.4L into a 3.0L

I haven't looked into it fully but i would ASSUME a 3.4 into a 3.0 would be easier because of bellhousings, etc?! :eeek:

Point me to the light. :corn:

I'm going to start looking...

Yup that's the answer.. The 3.slow to 3.4 is a simple swap. Litteraly a bolt in affair, fix the exhaust then it's just wiring to get knocked out and you're done.

The stock t case is chain driven, to run a mini truck gear driven t case you'll need a $300 adapter from Marlin and a 23 spline input. You can also find a dead ax15 from a heep and rob it's tailhousing and output shaft. Then a 231/300 doubler is a bolt in..

What about doublers from that point?! :eeek:

Read my post... Once you have a mini truck case in there you can do the normal yota doubles or anything else you can do off the back of the mini case.

The other option is the hybrid trans route to a 231 then on to a 300 or something of the like. :D
