toyota RUF spring wrap questions

so does anybody have any good aftermarket spring wraps that stay on and let the spring fan out a little bit. Similar to what the stock ones do.

I tore my stock one off of a pack of spring and am tired of the bottom springs twisting. My buddy says just bend a u shape piece out of some 1/4 steel and weld it to the end of the spring, then use a long bolt with leave at then end to limit the spring form fanning out too much. But i don

I did what your buddy said, except I didn't put a bolt at the top. A few good tackwelds holdin it on. I figured its the bottom spring, so even if the heat affected it (which I doubt it did, cause I didn't quench it, just let it air cool, and never did get it that hot in the first place.) I can still limp off the trail with the rest of the springs.
