So I have been reading alot of people use a wide rear axle (from 4runner?) in their Toyotas? I parted a 83 pickup and plan on using the axles in my 86 4runner I picked up. I measured the axle widths and they seem the same. What is the measurements of the wide axle I should be looking for?

wms-wms should be three inches wider in any 86 and up truck/runner then your 1st gen

Right now the extra is still under my 4runner. I am going to drive it around with the stock suspension to break in the motor rebuild for about 500 miles and then do the swap. That way I can clean up and paint the other axles and weld the truss' on them. I'll post it on here and craigslist once I dont need it anymore maybe in a month or so.
