trail gear long spline drive shaft kit

I got the trail gear 10in long spline kit. Just wonderin what year drive shaft works best to mate it to? I got and 85 style drive shaft but the tube looks to small to slide over the new part. Will the 85 shaft work?

any of the shafts that are not tapered at the end will work. I dont remember what years though

My 85 stock shaft worked fine. Figure out the length you need and take it to aukeen drivelines in kent, he did mine for cheap.

I will but wont be till tomorrw. I used trail geara 10in kit w/my stock 85 shaft. turned out fine.

found out the drive shaft i had wasn't an 85. it was older. i got an 85 drive shaft and its going to work out just fine.
