trailer brake upgrages

where do you guys go to have your brakes changed on trailers? i want to switch to electric because i dont like how the hydaulic actuator treats the truck. also, does your trail brake controller have anything to do with the make of your vehicle? when i look on the internet it has different models for ford/chevy/dodge but i dont have any of those trucks.

i also want to switch to discs from drums but didnt see any electric discs on the internet.

can i order brakes/actuator/controller from the internet and have it installed locally anywhere? im in bellevue.
