trans cooler lines?

I have one of my trans cooler lines leaking at the transmission, it's the engine/trans/radiator out of a '91 caprice ex police car... everything is stock,

where does one find replacement lines? :corn:

wrecking yard,or just use some 5/16" soft trans coolant line.I checked a couple distributors for ya and called dealership and they are not availble.Yes im bored here at work.

wow thanks man:awesomework: I appreciate it, ya it's leaking right at the threads of course and it feels like the line didnt get seated or something, but it went down tight and is still loose... it's a little rainy out now to go tinker on it, besides i already have enough other things to deal with :redneck:

Start checking out an fittings, You can most likely get a fitting that will screw into the trans and convert to a -6 fitting..then all ya have to do is plumb it to your cooler and back.

hmm, i have the -6 AN fittings and line maybe summit has adapters... :eeek:

EDIT: the cooler is built into the radiator...not sure if that makes a difference...

get a generic hard brake line that theads into the trans, then use some soft line to complete the connection to the cooler.......cheap and easy

All the Scrap is still at Aces house cause we got denied but a grumpy lady at the scrap yard cause his stuff wasnt cut up small enough and we havent had a chance to go again:haha:
