What do you think about the Lovell 357 transfer case? You think it shouldn't even be an option in an all around off-road only rig and not just a rock crawler? Considering I am running drivers drop that kind of limits my options a little so I would be looking at an atlas or a STAK as my real only other options to upgrades to my NP231 I have now.

for an on/off highway rig, I suggest the NV241 Rock Lok from the Rubicon (for Jeeps) or from www.jbconversions.com for others

I didn't think the 241 can do front or rear drive only as needed? Which is something I am looking for...

i did a flipped 300...i like it so far....I got the case for $100, but a little expensive to flip and upgrade. Might as well do an atlas. But if you can get buy with stock gearing and outputs for now $700 isn't all that bad.

It will if you pull a driveshaft! :redneck:

The QT in my '73 J4000 with PT kit can do it, but all the power goes through the chain anyways. Don't really like that!

Run a dana300 behind ur 241. D&D machine in Poulsbo has adapters for $400. 360-779-2500. That is the route that I am looking at taking but with a 231 HD case to the 300.
