New buggy and only been out a few times so I'm still learning about it.

Not a transmission guy so any advise is appreciated.
Transmission on the buggy quit pulling this past weekend. Haven't pulled it apart yet to look for shrapnel in the pan but it had some symptoms:

Turbo 350 with a standard valve body and a stock converter.

Checked all the fluids before heading out on the trail and all was good. Checked trans fluid while the engine was running.
Shifted into reverse fine at first but took a few seconds to engage first gear. Shifted fine for an hour or so until I started banging on it pretty good.
Put it in 1st and threw the hammer down on a steep hill then hit second. When I put it in reverse it slipped a few seconds then engaged. No forward gears.
When I checked the fluids again it showed over filled... :dunno: Pump? Torque Converter? :dunno:

I could shut off the engine for a few minutes and restart and it would work for a couple of shifts, then nothing.
Eventually had to tow back to the trailer and head home. Thanks Rockwell607 for the tow.

Will be tearing it apart today or tomorrow to see if I see something obvious.
Maybe something easy. Any ideas?

i have a TH350 you can buy, its a 2wd so youd have to swap your tail shafts, but thats not hard
