So I have some footage of a guy wedged in between a rock and a tree, backs up... gets it and bounces truck cab off of tree--smushing b pillar in.... tire stuck 2 foot up tree tree and crawls off. Do you use said video clip or do you put it on the cutting room floor because it's rig VS tree? This isn't a tree that hasn't been touched before, there's paint marks from multiple rigs doing same thing on this trail.

Your thoughts?

Out of curiousity where did it take place. Without seeing it I would say put in on the floor. I am sure you have way better footage without giving the Greenies something to cry about. What do I know I get hated on all the time by people on Youtube for some of my videos.

and who is this ****ing guy? when I saw it the rig looked like a piece of **** that you wouldn't want on your vids anyway. You almost couldn't hear the action because the engine was coming apart. I say send that in as a submission somewhere, but not with your name on it. let cole post it. cutting room floor. you are a nationwide distributor with nationwide attention. that holds you to a level of responsiblity that others (cole) aren't held to.

I do not think we should portray our sport badly. I do not like seeing beer in drivers hands. Nor do I like seeing creek/river crossings likethe one P just posted. Anything that gives others fire power to shut us down should be avoided. TU has used an abundance of wheelers pic as a basis of closing Tellico.

Took place on some land that is now an off-road park, the trails were cut and the land was torn up from military use.

yup shitty rig comin apart

I guess that just triggered thoughts on the matter. fukkit on the floor it goes. I don't want to be responsible for the loss of more land.

did you guys notice in "4LO" a guy rolls over a tree ?

Good call not using it. I also do not like the Aetna videos of the dirt hill climbs with the rigs flying around slinging dirt every where and running over small trees. Just does not portray it in a good light.

Yeah the pics P posted and the ones of Monteage in TN are both in creeks/rivers which I know is a touchy subject for the greenies that I am sure troll this site. I noticed guys with beers in hand the 4Lo film also, it looks trashy and irresponsible to put out a DVD with that in it. Rob, I applaud you for keeping your vids as classy as they can be with P, Miles and Kelly in them :flipoff1: :flipoff1:

Well... beers in hand around camp are one thing. Beers in hands in rigs it's another... Can you get a DUI in a barbie jeep? laughing1

We need a separate warning for Kelly's rig though "please make sure your shots are up to date before watching this video"

[off the record]During the tapings of Jackass movies, those guys were hammered the whole time... They were able to keep beer out of most shots though so it is possible to have the liquid courage on tape without actually showing beer. Not that I condone that, but you guys know what goes on at alot of rides.[/off the record]

laughing1

Yeah I thought yours and the Monteagle pics were both sweetness, would love to try them both out.

...which brings me to wtf is the deal with wheelin' in the water?? Nobody's made comments about the Clayton, OK creek wheelin stuff. Is this now a no-no nationwide or just a Tennesee/North Carolina thing?

There is a big Save the River's Alliance in Alabama, and Rich and John have both seen pictures surface from our site and others. John knows more than I do, but we discussed this as members and decided to not post pictures of local spots wheelin in running and deep water. Trout Unlimited is also searching all these sites (or was) looking for pics from Tellico where someone might be in the streams, which was the basis for their trail closures.

Thank you for clarifying. Please let me know if I slip and post something I shouldnt... I was unsure of what regions were affected.

...as long as clayton is full of meth-heads, I think they have bigger fish to fry than wheelers bringing in revenue to a shat ass town laughing1
