Trouble with Freshly Rebuilt 400M

I know this is a general question and hard to answer without hearing or looking at motor. But, I've got a good knocking out of the left side of motor. It only has 5K Miles on it since rebuild. I pulled the rockers off and it is oiling still on top end. What other things could I check to diagnose the problem? It looks as if the oil pressure actually went up after this happened.

I had a lifter flatten the cam on mine after about 5k. Made a hell of a racket from the pushrod jumping around. Never will buy an Erson cam again. Rod knocks are pretty common with those motors also.

If they reused the pistons, piston slap and wrist pin cracking happen a LOT with 400M and AMC motors too. (Ping is also the natural enemy of these motors)
