I have a stock Turbo 350 in my buggy and I want to put a manual valve body in it. What does it take to do this? Who would you take it to close to columbia? Thanks Josh

Pretty much any transmission repair shop can convert it. They gut it and put in a new valve body and wala, $ your shifting. Make sure you have a floor mounted shifter and not column though. Kind of takes all the fun out of it if you got to three on the tree it. :flipoff1: Call the local speed shop and see who they recomend in town or call Bryan C or Adam W.

If your remotely mechanically inclined its very easy to do, just follow the instructions supplied and no worries.

Why do you want a MVB? I love the 350 with the stock VB. It will hold what ever gear you put it in. And I have never felt the need to start out in 2 or 3 gear. Let it shift. I think a MVB is a waste of money in a 350. I just dont see the need.

Starting in first is getting old i want some freakin wheel speed!!!

Amen, do the Tennesse Terrorists start Cable hill in 1st gear? HELL No, 4th and 5th for long run wheel speed. I run mine the same way starting in 2nd and 3d at times. That's where the torque convertor can come in to play. On a Drag strip, is a manual faster than an automatic? IMO, no. Now get rid of the clutching and just grab gears, your gone. Just my .02 :dblthumb:
