lookin for an anwser on how to allow the mixer to vary to input atmoshperic pressure with the boost

where does it connect to the mixer and or reg. ?????

Copied this from another board hope it helps you out some.
To allow the mixer to run properly in blow-through mode, you need to install a balance line between the mixer and the converter. This ensures that the mixer supplies the correct fuel mixture regardless of the pressure.

Crap I've been using ATF in my turbo350. Will the propane give me more woo-pow? ???

I doubt a 425 mixer would fuel a turbo 350. They have a hard enough time fueling high performance motors because they don't flow enough air and fuel.

I think you'd need to either build a smaller motor or try to come up with a dual mixer setup.

I've thought about a turbo/pane 4.8 when i build my next rig but doubt it'll happen.

I might be wrong but i think the problem with the 425 on high hp engines is the lack air flow while being normally aspirated not the lack of fuel for the engine. From what I've noticed is that the engines run good and crisp at lower RPMs but richens up as the revs go up because it keeps up with the fuel demand but the engine cant suck in enough air through it. I'm sure it is not big enough for a real high HP turbo V8 but with the turbo forcing the air into the engine I'm sure it will get all the air it needs to burn the fuel from a 425. I think you could make 500 or so HP with the correct setup.

Its not the carb base plate that causes the air restriction it the actual 425 mixer.

You can run the balance tube from any of your carb/mixers vacuum ports in the base plate to the vent port in the converter. You have to take the cover off and the port is tapped 1/8npt.

One thing everyone forgets is that 425cfm Is going to change with a turbo pushing air through it. You push hard enough it will make the air get in the motor.Boost will work wonders!

The balance tube needs to go from the port on the mixer that is above the gas valve(balance port) to the atmospheric vent on the vaporizer and the vacuum lockoff valve if you are running one.
