got this Idea of sealing up the engine compartment with the hood, firewall fenderwells and front section , then forcing air into the area using some kind of blower , maybe a heater fan would work , then when you go under water the top portion of your engine would stay dry, disty and wires and carb, anyone ever done this of seen such a thing, could even just do this on the disty and the carb ,

Effort in futility.

IF you could seal it good enough to become water tight, it would become so cumbersome to do any routine maintainence as to be futile.

Besides, we don't have any reason to be in water that deep anyway. All the deep river crossings now have bridges for environmental resource protection reasons

Just seal up your distributor cap, relocate your air intake if necessary, and call it good. Radiators don't work real well in a closed environment.
