Im redoing the front 4 link on the juggy I am building. I have lowered it almost 12" from where it previously sat. Will it hurt to have the upper 4 link bars to have a slight bend in them to clear the engine crossmember or do they need to be straight? the tubing is .250 wall.

I've seen them bent like that to clear different items on rigs before and don't think it would hurt anything but that being said it may need a gusset welded on the top or bottom to keep it from bending any further than you wanted it to :dunno: or maybe I'm just talking out of my ass. Anyhow it should work

Could effect how level it sits. If that matters.
I have s bent link bar. Makes my buggy lean that wsy a little.

I wont hurt the geometry. No matter how they are bent it will still move on the same center line between the 2 joints
