Ive had this DEBATE with many ol'school wheelers... *("thats what I'll call them!")Make it MANDATORY for anyone buying a new or used vehicle in Washington state, or registering one that is a 4WD. Period, make it mandatory that 4WD owners pay a special license fee in order to have the priviledge of a 4WD. Yea, that includes AWD too, anyone with one of these rigs would pay a extra license fee, in order to help pay and support ORV areas. Regardless if they were used or not by the owners of 4WD / AWD vehicles. The fee's alone from just this would more than cover costs and officers to maintain ORV areas. Plus there could be a CAP on it based off of areas and money needed to support / maintain the existing ORV areas. After a studied analysis of money needed, the cap could be set in place and lawmakers could just RAPE the extras for other projects or their pockets. Long run, EVERYONE would WIN WIN.:cheer: :;
