Looks like I might be buying another bike. molaugh http://cedarrapids.craigslist.org/mcy/532290154.html

Sent them an offer of $800. I looked it a couple months back and they were wanting 2250 (new they are 3K). Missing a mirror and some dings here and there. 70+ mpg would make a gem of a commuter. I'd sell the VFR more than likely. :'(

Knew a guy that had one of those.... What i remember it sounded kinda like a weedeater and topped about about 14 MPh :flipoff1:

No... But sounds like a good deal man...

Some load these phuckers and tour on em  Gotta keep an eye on the oil level after longish rides with only a 2 quart sump. Not bulletproof, but a 14k redline and I think 35HP, should be a hoot to and from work.

Back in the day I owned a 250 Honda VTR ! It was the greatest bike I ever had . I ended up building the crap out of it and racing it at local tracks. In an 1/8 of a mile a was pulling in the low 7 sec's range. My friend had a Kawi 250 built the same as mine and he could pull in the low 8 sec range. We used to piss the 600's and 750's off . I raced anything that would pull beside me I ran the crap out of the bike with no troubles even with a 25 shot of NOS! I ended up trading it for a 600 FZR and regret it to this day. Ive owned over 6 sport bikes since that bike and have hated all of them . The 250's are so light and nimble and just trouble free. They are a little small and cramped on long rides but the fun factor over weights the down sides. Plus they are awesome weelie toy's! Get the bike . loller.gif :spin: thumb.gif
